Fez to Marrakech Camel Trekking: 4-Day Adventure

Day 1: Fez to Merzouga
Embark on an early departure from Fez, commencing your journey towards Merzouga. Passing through Ifrane, a charming winter resort with a European flair, we'll traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains, soaking in the scenic beauty of cedar forests in Azrou and glimpsing playful monkeys. Enjoy a stop in Midelt for a lunch break amid fascinating fossils and rocks. Continuing onward, marvel at panoramic views of sprawling palm tree oases before reaching Merzouga in the afternoon. Upon arrival, unwind with a refreshing mint tea at a traditional Kasbah nestled at the foot of the erg-chebbi dunes. Your camel guide awaits to lead you on an enchanting sunset trek across the sandy dunes to a Berber tent camp. After a delectable dinner, gather around the campfire for lively drum beats under the star-studded desert sky.

Day 2: Merzouga to Todra Gorge
Wake up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, a momentous spectacle near the Algerian border. After breakfast and a leisurely camel ride back to the hotel, refresh and prepare for the day ahead. En route to Todra Gorge, we'll pause to explore Rissani, steeped in history as the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty. Marvel at ancient monuments, fortified Kasbahs, and vibrant souks teeming with local life. Journeying through the picturesque Ziz Valley, arrive at Todra Gorge for a leisurely walk amidst towering cliffs and flowing rivers. Conclude the day with dinner and a cozy overnight stay in a traditional Kasbah.

Day 3: Todra Gorge to Ouarzazate
Following breakfast, embark on a scenic stroll through Todra Gorge, immersing yourself in its natural splendor. Departing towards Ouarzazate, pause to admire the dramatic landscapes of Dades Gorge and enjoy a delightful lunch. Upon reaching Ouarzazate, delve into its rich heritage with visits to the historic Kasbah of Taourirt and the renowned Atlas Studios, Africa's largest film studio complex. Dine and unwind for the night in Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, explore the remaining charms of Ouarzazate before heading to the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continuing our journey, we'll venture to the tranquil Fint Oasis and savor lunch in a quaint village along the Tizi-n-Tichka road. Finally, we'll arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, marking the end of our unforgettable desert expedition.
